Day 77: Take it serious!

Hans went around in the afternoon with Eric around Teiman gathering information on HIV-aids in the community where we live. It was interesting to know how open they are to talk about the disease and about their intimate life. It was a good experience and we would like to continue very soon improving our interviewing strategies!

On the other hand, Carmen went to the mall with Felicia, we had agreed on that for ages and finally we went to the center of glamour and consumerism. The mall is a very interesting place to see how a mall is so out of reach for the majority of the population... You had shops like Mango (Spanisch multinational), where the cloths are incredibly expensive compared to the Ghanaian shops. In sum there is nothing you can buy which is in line to Ghanaian salaries. Lets confess that Carmen got driven by the ambience and broke the whole affordable-budget lifestyle in two seconds by having lunch with Felicia at the mall...
