Hi H2CWorld-dreamers,
In the morning we had some coffee with bread for breakfast, yummy!
We went to the primary school in Ekrawfo and did some activities with one of the classes. We did some thinking and energy activities with them which were fun. Later we went to the smaller kids’ class and they sang and wiggled their body, they were very funny.
We then went to the library in Atakwa, there we met John Mensa the person in charge of the library who we met last time we were there. They agreed to do some activities in the afternoon with some young ones. This is why we went to the school in Atakwa to talk to the headmaster. This school was really beautiful! Around 20 student where selected to come that afternoon. The afternoon got quite challenging as we eat so much rice that Hans and Carmen found it difficult to stay alive. The young ones came and we played games, read books and enjoyed ourselves.
In sum what is it like to volunteer for Reyah? It is fun!

Now it was our turn, we went to the house of the Nana Esi Nisin, where she had gathered a group of lovely teenage mothers, they came with their babies and they were very talkative. We were introduced by the queen. The language barrier was there, but Reyah helped us with the translation. They know some English so we will not worry too much when we start the activities with them. They organized themselves and proposed to meet next weekend during 3 days for 1 hour. We agreed and are very excited to see who will come on the following Monday. SALT is in the air! The funny thing is that the conversation happened in the darkness, even so we took a fairly good picture of everybody.
