Day 43: Palm Sunday

We attended the Presbyterian morning session at Legon with Prince and Esther our lovely neighbors. They were dressed in very elegant combined clothes and we did not keep up at all with the elegance of the people at the church! It was very interesting to be part of their event.

(Esther in the middle with church friends + baby!)

(Church in construction, they are harvesting money everywhere to continue the works)

Later they dropped us of in Medina which was very calm as it was Sunday (it was nice to walk around the nearly empty streets). The light was still on when we got back, which was very unusual, so we decided to “brain-drop” enjoying the fan.

Esther and Prince invited us to watch the making and the EATING of fufu with light soup! It was very nice and amazing to see how the cassava and the plantain turned into an amazing soft delicious ball. In the evening they took us to the youth group meeting at the Legon Presbyterian church. There we attended a very informal Bible study session about repentance. It was very interesting to be surrounded by Ghanaian youth like us. They were discussing, though we could not participate as the conversation was jumping from English to Twi, although we understood some words like kasa (talk), fie (home)…

When we arrived home the light was still on, a record since we arrived in Ghana!
