Hi World-dreamers!

After a morning of planning and discussing our experience in Mensabar Hans went to the office of Mr Ato Keelson (an uncle of Yorke) in Lebrone. He is the Executive Director of the Du Bois Memorial centre.

Du Bois, concerned with the rights of Africans, was one of the key figures of the pan african movement wich aims to make Africans feel proud of their origin.

After independence Kwame Nkruma invited Du Bois to write encyclopdia about each African Country. He died however before he could finish his books at the age of 93(!).

Very interesting and worth a visit when travelling in Ghana! www.webdubois-gh.org

After the tour we had an interesting talk about the project. Mr Keelson has a lot of experience in working with youth and has done similar projects as ours. He wants to help us and we are very glad with that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is also very keen on starting a project in Ekrwafo (the community we visited on day 28).

But now it is time for FINANCIAL FRIDAY!
