Day 33: Meeting the group in Mensabar

Hi H2CWorld-dreamers,

We are very happy and excited about what we did today. After months of preparation we finally had the opportunity to really feel we are starting something! We went to Mensabar early in the morning, to meet with the young people who wanted to join us.

We gathered at the Saasabi Primary School, where Miss Suzy and Lillly were expecting us. 4 young women and 5 young men came to talk to us and we one by one discussed about they expectations and our plan.

It was very interesting to see how they came with an idea in their heads (that as foreigners we would give them some kind of finantial help to continue their studies), and how we had to discuss this point for a long time. Others came with idea of us offering specific trainining, and one woman thought she could join and work with us. Many understood our intentions and a few had energy and interest in changing things around them. They also where fluent in English (except for one girl) and a bit shy!

It was nice to meet you Alberta, Sarah, David, Amos, Desmond, John, Caroline, Albert and Forgive!

We also went to talk with Nadu and David, they also said they would come next week.

We are curious to know who will come on Monday. We agreed that the program will take place from 9 a.m to 12 a.m from Monday the 23rd, until Friday the 27th.
