We have met Eric through Felicia (our neighbour). He is a very nice experienced young man who has worked a lot with youth. We had a first chat and planned to meet again soon as we live very close. Thank you Felicia!

Let’s now continue with our foodie moments. Today we will talk about breakfast food! Many will say that there is no such thing, as some Ghanaians will eat fufu for breakfast, but others with more of a sweet tooth will agree with us.

Porridge is made of millet grain, water, sugar and sometimes ginger. It very nice to eat and it makes your tummy full.

Oats are also common and you eat them with some reduced milk and sugar.

It is not common to see people drinking coffee (we have not seen it at least), what we see everywhere are choco-drinks like MILO.

A little note about milk, as it is very expensive people buy milk powder (non-diary milk) which is made of vegetable oil. Please send us a cow!

Check out the little mangos, a few more weeks and they will be ready to be eaten!! They are all over the place in Ghana :)
