Ghana celebrates its 58th birthday!
In 1957, the Gold Coast liberated itself as first sub-Saharan country from its colonizers (the British)! They changed the name to Ghana and Kwame Nkrumah was liberated from prison and became the first president of Ghana.
This is of course a good reason to celebrate!
This morning, the door knocked and an unknown man came in with a huge TV and placed it in our hall!

We were very confused, later we were told that that man was Yorke’s brother in law, who wanted us to watch the Independence Parade! And so we did, Yorke came along with Jackeline and Edmond, his cute niece and nephew.
We also had time to arrange more things about the partnership and the planning for the upcoming weeks, as well as to play some Rummy!
