Day 12: Where shall we stay?

Hi H2CWorld-dreamers,

Today we have been busy to find a place to stay! We might have found something …

Now, it is time fooooor:

TRAVEL TIPS!

  • People in Ghana use their right hand for most of the things. It is inappropriate to shake hands, to eat, to give things or to wave with the left hand. Most Ghanaian people are luckily very understanding and patient with obruni (white) people.

  • For the GPS junkies: before you glue your face on your cellphone to find a particular location consider asking people on the street. They are always very helpful in giving directions and sometimes even walk with you to the location.

  • For Singaporeans! If you want to feel a bit at home…Milo is everywhereJ! In Ghana they pronounce it “meelo” as in milk. You can find little street food shops where they will prepare it for you warm or cold! Yummy.
